We once again have the great pleasure and honor to be working with the Music For MS organization to present the annual Roots Music Festival at Hartwood Acres. This year the festival happens on Saturday, August 15, and the performers should be familiar to all the Friends of Jupiter.
We are pleased to announce that M4MS 2014 favorites Humming House will be returning to headline M4MS 2015. Joining our friends from Nashville are The Black Lillies from Knoxville, Tennessee and The Mulligan Brothers from Mobile, Alabama. Western PA’s own Tiger Maple String Band will also be performing, and Maddie Arnold and Friends return for their second slot at M4MS.
If you were there, you know that August 16, 2014 at Hartwood Acres was a literally perfect day for the very first Music For MS Roots Music Festival. The weather, the crowd, the food, the music, everything just clicked. We set the bar high in 2014 but we are doing it again, even bigger and better than before!
With your support for the 2014 Roots Music Festival we were able to donate $40,000 to the Pennsylvania Keystone Chapter of the National MS Society. We have set our sights higher for 2015, and have upped the ante with three national touring acts and two local acts scheduled for 2015.
Specially-priced advance tickets for the 2015 Festival are on sale now for a limited time. You can pick up an individual general admission ticket for $15, a four-pack for $50, and a 10-pack for $100. We think the best deal is the VIP four-pack, which gets you 4 VIP tickets, 4 t-shirts, and access for four to the VIP tent near the stage featuring shade, real bathrooms, food and beverages. Get that close, and maybe you will meet Humming House, The Black Lillies, The Mulligan Brothers, Tiger Maple String Band and Maddie Arnold and Friends.
