We spent Mardi Gras 2014 in New Orleans, our favorite place in the world outside Pittsburgh. But it was 41 degrees and pouring down rain. All day. Non-stop. Not so much fun. Particularly when we were in costume under our raincoats (the photo was taken during the Zulu parade). So, this year, we are going to stay warm and dry inside Pittsburgh Winery and throw our own Mardi Gras party. Doors will open at 6 PM, and we will have Randazzo’s king cake and Tim’s gumbo ready. Sol Driven Train will get the music going at 7 PM. We have plenty of beads and throws we collected last year to share. So, come dressed to party, bring a NOLA-inspired dish to share if you care to, and join us in letting the good times roll in Pittsburgh. And just like the NOLA Mardi Gras, we will wrap it up early and get you on the road home shortly after 9 PM.
